I grew up on the High Plains of Southwest Nebraska, where the closest neighbor was a couple miles away. One of the best things about the High Plains is the fresh earthy smell after a spring storm - it evokes a feeling of new life and possibilities.

I’ve had a passion for carpentry, woodworking and being “Mr. Fix-it” my entire life. I’ve been a professional finish carpenter and handyman for more than 20 years. One of my greatest accomplishments was having the privilege of building a home from the ground up.

My wife’s work keeps life interesting; we’ve lived in Nebraska, Utah, Missouri and now SoCal. Without a doubt, California has been the most interesting so far!

When I’m not being Mr. Fix-it, I’m probably building, flying, or competing with model airplanes.
